Mathews Art Gallery exhibits the work of more than 50 area artists. The fine art offered for sale includes both two and three-dimensional works. The Mathews Art Group operates The Gallery as a cooperative effort with the exhibiting artists. The artists staff The Gallery on a rotating basis. Some artists set up work in progress, and will be happy to demonstrate the techniques involved in their particular art form.

Juror/Judge

Gary Edmondson is a highly regarded artist from Mathews, whose acrylics depict still life and river scenes in beautiful natural colors. His works have hung in the Morales Art Gallery in Nags head, the Gallery on the York, Christopher Newport College and Bay School in Mathews.
